Bath of Zeus

Our medium level canyon which introduces a more technical aspect of canyoning!

The canyon is located on the eastern side of Mt. Olympus, at the bottom of Enipeas gorge, right on the edge of the town of Litochoro and its surprisingly well hidden. It is a "narrow crack" canyon, which means the waterflow is deep within high walls surrounding our route. The sunlight vanishes when our descent beggins as we abseil deep into the canyon.

Entry to the starting location is by a 10 minute flat hike across the village path that takes us to the village aquaduct. Below that, our descent beggins and lasts about 2 and a half hours. Our exit is a quick 5 minute hike to our vans!

Route information!

The route is amazing for those who want a taste of narrow, cave-like canyon! From the start, we will be abseiling non-stop deeper towards the narrowest parts of the canyon. We will learn new things about safely moving over the edge of waterfalls to start our abseils and how to move across heights! At the end of the day, we will have a better understanding of what technical canyoning has to offer and the fun that abseiling can provide!.
